Death Valley

Hi,
I’m now in the USA at Death Valley. Death Valley is located on the borders of Nevada and California. It is the highest, hottest, and driest place in America. Today there is a powerful sandstorm raging in Death Valley and isn’t a very hot day for Death valley only being 50 degrees Celsius. The record for the highest temperature in the western hemisphere is held by Death Valley at 56 degrees Celsius. Yesterday I went down to the lowest place in
North America being 85 metres below sea level. Death Valley is the home to the native Timbisha tribe. Besides the Timbisha tribe Death Valley has only a couple of other familys living in it. In the desert when you look around you can find alot of salt and borax believed to be from when Death Valley was covered by water like an inland sea. At night temperatures in Death Valley can get down to below zero degrees Celsius. I find it amazing that the Americans made Death Valley into a national park so that it doesn’t get destroyed. I have had alot of fun looking at Death Valley but everything has to come to an end. I will tell you when I get to my next destination.
